I'm a UKCP registered Psychotherapist, Trainer and Supervisor working in private practice near Maidstone, Kent. I provide individual, couple and group psychotherapy in a peaceful, rural location. My practice is general, which means I work with a broad range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, somatic illness, eating disorders, childhood trauma and more. I am an advocate for change and that is my aim when you work with me. Feel free to contact me to arrange an initial session, where you can meet me and then decide if you'd like to continue, without obligation.
Quite a long time ago, back in 2003, I felt that something was missing but struggled to find what it was. After looking in all the wrong places, I eventually discovered the world of therapy. It all started one cold January day when I went to see a therapist who helped me reconnect with myself. I was nervous about what to expect as I sat in the waiting room looking at an abstract picture on the wall in front of me. I was struck by the therapist's authenticity and willingness to confront me with a gentle curiosity that invited me into the therapeutic relationship. As I began to trust and feel safe, I told my story, and that was the beginning of my passion for therapy. Since then I have pursued my training and a career in psychotherapy.
