Skills
I am qualified to make a clinical diagnosis where it is necessary and I support the movement towards becoming more interested in what's happened to a person. This means I take a wholistic approach to assessment.
I work with the techno-social dilemma of our time, which places emphasis on social identity, accelerated lifestyle and individualism. Our true nature is to belong in nurturing groups where people have a healthy sense of self-concept orientated towards the wellbeing of the collective.

Experience
My psychotherapy training spans 22 years. Since undertaking a TA101 course, I have completed formal training and become a provisional teaching and supervising transactional analyst. This means I teach the model in the field of psychotherapy and provide clinical supervision to qualified and trainee psychotherapists.
I welcome difference and diversity in my practice and support equal opportunity. I have worked with a wide range of mental health problems. People come to me with emotional difficulties, such as grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family conflict, stress, exhaustion and subsequent related issues that can make life seem unbearable.
Most recently I have been working with people who have diagnoses of autism and ADHD, supporting them through clinical assessments and subsequent diagnoses. This life changing event is impactful and people report that having therapy alongside this process helps them assimilate this incredible discovery they are making about themselves.
